The HealthMyne team had a productive few days at the recent 103rd Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), talking with industry leaders and sharing demonstrations of our Quantitative Imaging Decision Support (QIDS)™ platform. Among those conversations was a full demo for Simon Harris, Principal Analyst with Signify Research, conducted by HealthMyne executives Arvind Subramanian and Neal Miller.
Harris was so impressed, he included a nice shout out about HealthMyne in the Signify Research Show Report from RSNA 2017, summarized here. While he remarks that artificial intelligence (AI) was clearly a predominant theme at this year’s RSNA, Harris also noted that “it’s all about workflow,” and the HealthMyne’s QIDS platform, while not AI is a product with “the potential to improve both the speed and the accuracy of radiologists.”
He highlighted QIDS’ aim to impact clinical productivity and patient management decisions by providing radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams with quantitative imaging data and supporting patient information in an intuitive way within their clinical workflows.
He points out that as radiology transitions to a value-based care model and precision medicine gains more traction, platforms such as QIDS will enable radiologists to demonstrate value by providing the referring physicians with objective, consistent and data-rich reports.
